Scotland Forever: Thistle Hamsa Magnet

In Gàidhlig (Scottish Gaelic), Scotland is named Alba. This hand-painted design translates the popular slogan Alba gu bràth into Hebrew as Alba le'olam: Scotland forever. In the centre is a hamsa, the symmetrical hand symbol of luck and protection which is found in many cultures, including Jewish artwork. It is decorated to resemble the national flower of Scotland: the thistle.
